AMD To Introduce A Next-Gen Flagship Killer Graphics Card At CES 2020

AMD will take the wraps off its next-gen RDNA 2 Radeon GPUs at CES 2020 which is not much more than a month’s time, likely revealing the much awaited high-end Navi graphics card, at least according to the rumor mill.
According to the source uncovered by Wccftech via Chiphell, who is a reliable leaker revealed to us what AMD is up to. According to the enigmatically named Wjm47196, CES will be the stage on which AMD will unveil its first preview of the next-gen Radeon graphics cards which will be 2nd-gen RDNA a further honed and refined architecture compared to the original Navi GPUs, in other words 7nm+ – as previous rumors have indicated.
And it’s likely that these GPUs will boast hardware acceleration to give games with ray tracing faster frame rates, and to catch up with Nvidia’s RTX graphics cards on this front. Some of the features to expect from 2nd Generation rDNA Navi GPUs would be:
  • Optimized 7nm+ process node
  • Enthusiast-grade desktop graphics card options
  • Hardware-Level Ray Tracing Support
  • A mix of GDDR6 and HBM2 graphics cards
  • More power-efficient than First-Gen Navi GPUs
It's obviously means that AMD plans to have hardware-level integration on their GPUs to support real-time ray tracing in games. This would put them on par with NVIDIA’s RTX technology which implemented ray-tracing support through hardware-level integration last year with their GeForce RTX 20 series cards.
In addition, is worth noting that the source of this leak spilled a couple of other hints as well, including that there will allegedly be a new wallet-friendly Navi 10 desktop GPU also coming to sit under the RX 5700 somewhere. Perhaps it could be toss around $250, £190, AU$370, to take on Nvidia’s new GTX 1660 Super. Again this could indicate a launch coming sooner rather than later. Although note that all this should be taken with a grain of salt, but that said, these rumors are starting to seriously turning up factually...
